Texas-based Staudt Brothers have a sound steeped in Southern Rock and Red Dirt. With a gritty two electric guitar attack and story telling song writing sensibilities, they sit astride the line of country and rock and roll with an ease. "We grew up listening to the titans of southern rock and country from the 70's and 80's blaring from tape decks and CD players, I think it bleeds into our music creation." says front man Caleb Staudt. "We're not quite country and not strictly rock and roll and we like it that way" Indeed their most recent album "Livewire Priest" is a strong example of that statement. The first single "Someday" is full on rock and roll riffs that deliver the goods in classic fashion.
